Overview & Highlights

Sushi on Q410 is a vibrant sushi restaurant nestled in the heart of Brisbane’s bustling business district at 410 Queen Street. Known for its swift service and accessible price point, this delightful eatery caters perfectly to office workers seeking a flavorful yet efficient lunch experience.

The menu showcases a blend of classic and contemporary Japanese favorites, with a notable emphasis on sushi and comforting noodle dishes. The Udon Soup offers a warm, soothing broth paired with perfectly chewy noodles, while the Yaki Noodle features stir-fried udon seamlessly mixed with crisp vegetables and a rich house teriyaki sauce that bursts with umami. On the side, their Pork Dumplings, crafted in-house, provide a satisfying, savory bite, and the Housemade Miso Soup is frequently praised as one of the best in town—deeply flavorful with just the right balance of earthiness.

The sushi selection is varied and appealing, capturing the essence of Australian-style sushi with a reliable quality that offers great value. Fans of the Salmon Aburi Bowl will find it both generously portioned and richly tasty, delivering smoky, melt-in-the-mouth salmon atop a bed of perfectly cooked rice. If you’re after a more protein-forward option, the breaded chicken bowl is a crowd-pleaser, though with a hint of Japanese mayo that some may find polarizing.

Visitors appreciate the casual yet bustling atmosphere of Sushi on Q410. The space is cozy with the choice of indoor seating or al fresco dining on the footpath terrace, perfect for soaking in the urban energy or enjoying the shade beneath the iconic Moreton Bay fig tree at Mooney Memorial Fountain just opposite the venue. It’s this mix of city vibe and personal touch that makes Sushi on Q410 a beloved lunchtime refuge.

Customer experiences often highlight the restaurant’s quick service, essential during Brisbane’s busy lunch hours when lines form but move swiftly. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness add warmth and make every visit feel welcoming, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a relaxed meal. Price-wise, dishes hover around a very reasonable range, typically $4 per sushi roll and up to $15 for hearty bowls–a balance that appeals to regular city diners.

Overall, Sushi on Q410 merges convenience, flavor, and value with a genuine local charm. Whether it’s the addictively tasty miso soup, the satisfying thickness of their udon noodles, or the fresh simplicity of their sushi offerings, this gem on Queen Street delivers a solid and enjoyable Japanese dining experience in Brisbane’s urban core.

The line is always out the door at lunch time but moves fast. Good selection of sushi but I usually get the salmon aburi bowl. Relatively cheap lunch for what you're getting and it's tasty. Sometimes the quality differs so could be a bit hit and miss. Haven't tried other dishes but friends have said karaage chicken bowl is just ok.

This restaurant was quiet and quaint. The food was good. I ordered a #2 bowl. Simply chicken (breaded) with lettuce and rice. Good price point and enough food for a full meal. I was not the biggest fan of the Japanese mayo, but overall the meal was hot and yummy to take to go. They provide lids, utensils, napkins and chop sticks. I was expecting more sushi but I came before they closed at 3pm. Would come back!

Always a great experience at Q410. The food is always great and the service too! It quickly became my absolute go to when in the city often 2 to 3 times a week! Does get busy but the turnaround time is brilliant. Quick, easy, tasty!!

Busy little corner Sushi cafe located in downtown Brisbane business precinct. Choice of indoor seating or outside on the footpath terrace. Nice range of sushi, friendly service and good value. For those wishing to enjoy the outdoors there is seating under the large Moreton Bay fig tree in Mooney Memorial Fountain opposite Q410.

Australian style sushi, price and quality very standard ($4/roll). Also does Japanese curry, Karaage Chicken, etc.. Pretty cheap for these meals ~$15, but it’s like 80% rice 20% meat. Still yummy, comparable to Hanachi. Service is quick and is obviously geared towards office workers getting lunch.

Their sushi was excellent, and the miso soup was one of the best I've had. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
